When To Use: 

Use Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) to retrieve current and historical data from key industry providers, inlcuding: Compustat, Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP), and NYSE Trade and Quote Database (TAQ).

Description: 

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is a comprehensive web-based data management system that allows easy retrieval of information from a wide variety of financial, economic, and marketing data sources. Developed in 1993 to support faculty research at The Wharton School, WRDS has since evolved to include over 110 academic institutions.

Availability: 

Wharton Research Data Services is available in the Management Library, and is strictly limited to use by current students, faculty, and staff of Cornell.
