The Management Library's research staff supports the research and teaching efforts of the Johnson School community. Research services are available in the library during research desk hours. In addition, research questions are accepted by phone (255-3389) or through our Ask a Librarian online service.
Many of the common questions that the reference staff receive have been compiled into a collection of Frequently Asked Questions. These FAQs cover a wide variety of topics and serve as an excellent starting point for business research.
Reference staff offer individual or group consultations to assist current Cornell Community members with customized research sessions. To schedule a consultation, please fill out our Consultation Request form. You will be contacted by a member of our reference staff to set up a consultation within one business day.
Our instruction team provides course-specific, job search, and general research skills instruction to the Johnson School community. Instructors work with faculty members, school staff, and club officers to prepare customized training sessions. In addition, the library offers a variety of workshops each semester to provide business students with the research skills they will need - at Cornell and throughout their careers.
“Be sure to include the library workshops in your busy schedule because the investment you make today in the library will provide great dividends later.”
-Former Johnson School Dean Robert J. Swieringa
"The Management Library offers a rich collection of electronic business information services, and teaches MBAs how to competently navigate the jungle of information available online. Knowledge of these resources and how to use them wisely and efficiently will give you an edge both in your course work and in your job search."
-Johnson School Professor Roni Michaely
