Course Reserves

NOTE: Cornell continues to follow guidance from state and federal public health officials, who will help to determine when it is safe for the University to resume normal campus operations.  With no on-site staff currently, there is no access to library spaces and the physical collections, including physical items placed on course reserve.

While physical reserve materials are currently unavailable and we cannot supply new scanning or digitization services for items held in the Cornell Library, we are still able to supply many items electronically. If a physical-only reserve item shown here is needed for your course it may also be available as an e-resource via the Library Catalog. E-books may also be requested via the Recommend A Purchase form.

Johnson School course reserves typically can be checked out for a two-hour period. Reserve items can be renewed in-person or by phone at 607-255-3389, provided that another patron has not placed a “hold” on the item. Course reserves loans cannot be renewed online.

Reserve items may be borrowed for overnight usage beginning two hours before closing and are due back the next open day two hours after opening. Fines accrue overnight on books due before closing. Return reserve material to staff at the desk during regular hours. Return materials to the library book-drop in the parking lot near the south entrance when the desk is closed.

To view the status of a reserve item, check the menu below for your class. Or see all reserves at Cornell University Library.
